Grace Apostolic Center Leadership

Grace Apostolic Center is blessed to have a leadership team dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bios of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Apostle Susie Steed

Governing Pastor

Apostle Susie served in Henderson North Carolina where she was the Pastor of More than Conquers for six plus years. Prior to that she served as missionary from the age of twelve as well as in the field of evangelism for most of her adult life. She serves with a passions to help others. Some of her strongest qualities in the Kingdom of God is her power to pray she spends countless hour in her prayer closet. She constantly seeks the presences of God not only for herself but for others as well. She is devoted to her family and to ministry.  

Apostle Susie attended Fayetteville State University in her early years receiving a high level of education in the world of business. She has own and managed several business with great success. She attended The Wisdom Center Bible College receiving a masters certification as a Christian Life Coach.

She is happily married to Dr. Melvin Steed as they share five children and twelve grandchildren. There view of the word of God is that we all have the ability to hear his voice and do what we hear.

Apostle Dr. Melvin Steed

Governing Apostle


 Dr. Steed was appointed to serve as Grace  Place International's Senior Pastor in November 2017. Prior to that, he served as Associate Pastor of Victorious Living Chapel in Columbus, Georgia, for 33 years. He now serves as Governing Apostle of Grace Apostolic Center.

The attributes that best describe Dr. Steed as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development, and counseling skills. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Grace Apostolic Center, where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Dr. Steed takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Prayer and Bible study.


He attended the University Of Phoenix receiving a degree in Business Management.  He also attended The Wisdom Center Bible Institute where he received a Doctor of Divinity Degree. Dr. Steed is a published author of the book, Standing while Things Are Falling.

Dr.  Steed  is happily married to Apostle Susie Steed where they share five  Children, and Twelve  Grandchildren.  Together they are a Power couple for The cause of the Kingdom of God.
